Dr. Brett Dragomer joined Ochsner Health in 2021, and currently serves as a System Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacist. Dr. Dragomer works closely Ochsner Health’s Department of Infectious Disease and the System Antimicrobial Stewardship committee to support infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardship activities across the health system. He earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University and then completed a post-graduate pharmacy residency at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan. Dr. Dragomer is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). His professional interests include advancing antimicrobial stewardship, beta-lactam allergy cross-reactivity, antimicrobial pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and evidence-based shortened durations of antimicrobials.
