Dr. Ehrensing received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency, followed by fellowships in Infectious Disease and Critical Care at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also certified in wound management and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Ehrensing is a fellow of both the American College of Physicians and Infectious Disease Society of America.
