Dr. Dalovisio has been part of the Infectious Diseases faculty since 1978. He is a past president of the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA). In addition to his ambulatory medical practice, Dr. Dalovisio also serves as the Ochsner medical director of Philanthropy and Executive Health. He is a former Chair of the Ochsner Department of Medicine and is a fellow of American College of Physicians and Infectious Diseases Society of America. Dr. Dalovisio graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine where he was a member of the AOA honor society. He completed his residency and internship at the University of Florida. He then completed his infectious diseases fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center.
