Dr. Eric Luk received his medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2013. He went on to complete his internship and residency at University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. He completed his Hematology Oncology fellowship at Ochsner Health System where he also served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Luk is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. He has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2020. Dr. Luk specializes in thoracic oncology, head and neck oncology, and central nervous system cancers. His other interests include clinical research, community service, and medical education. He presented his most recent research in 2020 at the CHEST Annual Meeting, the ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting, and Ochsner Research Day. He was awarded a CHEST Foundation COVID-19 Community-based grant in 2020 to address food insecurity of cancer patients. As of 2021, he was designated as an Associate Program Director for Ochsner's Hematology Oncology fellowship. Dr. Luk is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
