The Publishing Services group maintains a scholarly publishing blog with information about trends, ethics, and new requirements in academic publishing.
Publishing Services maintains the systemwide publications database and will provide reports on request. The publications database includes all published articles by Ochsner-affiliated authors from 2009 to the present.

Ochsner’s Publishing Services group produces the Ochsner Journal, a quarterly peer-reviewed medical journal that is indexed at PubMed Central.
All articles in the Ochsner Journal are assigned PubMed ID numbers and are returned in PubMed searches.
We do not charge page publication fees or open-access fees. Internal distribution is primarily via the quarterly electronic table of contents.
Articles in the Ochsner Journal are viewed by more than 100,000 unique users who access more than 145,000 journal pages at PubMed Central each month.
