Training: PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency, Massachusetts General Hospital; PGY-2 Neurology Pharmacy Residency, VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System

Practice Interests: Subarachnoid hemorrhage, status epilepticus, stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, anticoagulation.

Dr. Bukovskaya joined the Ochsner team in 2015. She is involved with the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Critical Care residencies as a preceptor for the Neurocritical Care rotation. She is also involved in the education of neurology and anesthesia residents from LSU and Ochsner. Yana serves on several multidisciplinary committees including Anticoagulation and Stroke Committees, as well as the Pharmacy Residency Research Committee.

Training: Prisma Health – Upstate, Greenville, SC, PGY1 Pharmacy Residency; University of Chicago Medicine, Chicago, IL, PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency

Practice Interests: anticoagulation reversal, ACLS, ENLS, stroke, traumatic brain injuries

Dr. Donaldson joined the Ochsner team in 2023. She is involved with PGY1 and PGY2 programs as a preceptor for the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit and serves as a preceptor for local pharmacy students. She also serves as a lecturer for Xavier’s Physician Assistant program and is involved with educating neurology, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine medical residents. Dr. Donaldson is part of the Acute Stroke Peer Review and Code Blue multidisciplinary committees. She is also an active member for the Neurocritical Care Society.

Practice Interests: Sepsis, ICU delirium, alcohol withdrawal, and nutrition

Dr. Jennings began practicing at Ochsner Medical Center in 2013. She is the director of the PGY-2 Critical Care Residency program and also precepts PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents on their Medical and Surgical ICU rotations. Dr. Jennings is involved with educating ICU nurses and physician assistant students as well as medical and surgical residents. She is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Dr. Kline joined the critical care team in 2021. She precepts PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents on their Medical ICU rotation and lectures at the University of Queensland Medical School. She also is involved with the education committees for the Residency Track Students from Xavier University and Ochsner residency programs.

Practice Interests: acute respiratory distress syndrome, aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, trauma, anticoagulation reversal

Dr. Simonson has been a member of the Ochsner pharmacy family since 2019. She worked as an intern at Ochsner Kenner while in pharmacy school, completed her residency training at Ochsner, and began her career as a neurocritical care clinical pharmacist at Ochsner Medical Center in July 2024. Dr. Simonson is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Neurocritical Care Society. She is on the new practitioners committee for the Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
