Dr. King began work with Ochsner Medical Center in 2018. Prior to this, he served as an professor at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Dr. King specializes in management of complex infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship strategies, clinical microbiology, and molecular epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance. He is an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists, American Society of Microbiology, and American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
