Dr. Babin began her clinical practice at Ochsner Medical Center in 2010 practicing in the perioperative area. Next, she has served in inpatient clinical administration with formulary and medication safety management at Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Babin then started working with the outpatient specialty pharmacy in 2016. Dr. Babin is the current director of the PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency. Dr. Babin’s focus is on the development of clinical services in specialty pharmacy, building collaborative practices to improve quality, and working with manufacturers to collaborate initiatives in patient care.

Dr. Johnson joined the Ochsner Specialty Pharmacy team in 2018. She is a clinical pharmacist with Hematology and Oncology as her primary focus. Dr. Johnson’s scope of practice includes patient assessment and care through extensive counseling and monitoring, as well as providing assistance with the prior authorization process of specialty medications.

Dr. Lager joined Ochsner Specialty Pharmacy in 2022 and serves as a clinical pharmacist with GI/Derm team. Prior to joining OSP she completed a community-based PGY-1 residency focused on primary care disease states. She is passionate about medication access and education for her patients.

Dr. Murray joined the Ochsner Specialty Pharmacy team in 2021 as Manager of Specialty Pharmacy in New Orleans. Prior to joining Ochsner Specialty Pharmacy, Dr. Murray completed clinical and leadership residency training. He also has experience in acute care pharmacy leadership from his previous role at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital. Dr. Murray is passionate about employee engagement, quality improvement, and leadership development.

Prior to coming to Ochsner Health, she had over 10-years of retail pharmacy experience. Dr. Nguyen’s favorite aspect of pharmacy is helping patients get access to life-saving medications.

Prior to joining Ochsner, Dr. Verret has been a practicing pharmacist in the community setting for over 15-years.
