Ochsner Health is the largest and most well-regarded health care organization in Louisiana and much of the Gulf South. Ochsner’s mission is to serve, heal, lead, educate and innovate by living our values of putting patients first with compassion, integrity, excellence, and teamwork.

The program mission includes providing education and training for future neuropsychologists in accordance with Ochsner’s mission and standards for specialty training at the state and national level. We aim to integrate multiracial/multiethnic/multicultural issues within every training experience and competency. Our goals include:

  1. Providing specialty training in neuropsychological assessment, consultation, and supervision.
  2. Engaging fellows in innovative approaches to individual and group patient care to address changing healthcare needs.
  3. Educating fellows in foundational and current topics in clinical neuropsychology and related fields.
  4. Preparing fellows to demonstrate the competencies necessary for the specialized practice of clinical neuropsychology via board certification.
  5. Encouraging fellows to engage in professional service.
