Dr. William Davis joined Ochsner in 1991. He graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1983 and completed a Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Michigan. He is currently the Chair of the Rheumatology Department and is Vice Chair of Education for the Department of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Robert Quinet graduated from Joan Sanford I Weill Medical College of Cornell University in 1974. He is the Director of Ochsner’s Rheumatology Fellowship Program and is Clinical Professor at LSU Medical School, Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and an Assistant Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine.
Dr. Patricia Kachur graduated from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Central Florida. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She moved to New Orleans to specialize in Rheumatology and completed her fellowship training at Ochsner Medical Center. She joined the Department of Rheumatology as Staff Physician in 2020.
Dr. Chandana Keshavamurthy joined Ochsner in November 2017 after practicing in Arizona. She attended Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in India for medical school and completed her residency at Queens Hospital Center in Mt. Sinai, NY and fellowship at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, AK.
Dr. Eve Scopelitis joined Ochsner in 2006. She was previously at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she held the position of Professor of Medicine and Director of the Rheumatology Clinics. She received her MD from Upstate Medical University of New York and had additional training in New York and New Orleans where she completed a Rheumatology fellowship and was additionally awarded a separate Arthritis Foundation Fellowship for research.
Dr. Karen Toribio graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine New Orleans in 2008. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Duke and a fellowship in Rheumatology at NYU in New York City. She joined Ochsner in 2014.
Dr. Tamika Webb-Detiege graduated from Temple University School of Medicine where she also completed a rheumatology fellowship. She joined the Department of Rheumatology at Ochsner in 2007. She is certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound and bone densitometry. She is also Director of Admissions with the University of Queensland Ochsner Clinical School, Rheumatology Clerkship Director and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Queensland.
Jerald Zakem is a Rheumatology specialist. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed residency and fellowship at the University of South Florida. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2000.
