Aims
The OLGMC surgery program aims to: 1) provide customized training and core training in surgery which ensures a broad exposure to acute, chronic and complex surgical pathologies; 2) provide excellent training and mentorship in quality improvement and patient safety as scholarship to be used throughout their careers; 3) educate compassionate and skilled surgeons who seek to practice patient-centered care; and 4) provide experience in translating clinical and scholarly work into advocacy to continue the process of advancement in surgical practices locally, regionally and nationally.
