2025 Ochsner Women’s Health Research Seminar

Purpose

This conference is an opportunity for our residents to present data, which they have accumulated in their areas of interest, coupled with presentations by a guest lecturer encompassing a broad spectrum of topics in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. This conference is intended for OB/GYN physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners.

Guest Faculty

Amy Young

Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Women’s Health

UT Health Austin

She specializes in gynecology, menopause, and vulvar disorders. Dr. Young is a professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health. Dr. Young earned her medical degree from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Young was recently appointed the Executive Director for the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.


Accreditation
The Ochsner Clinic Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation
The Ochsner Clinic Foundation designates this live activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
