Epic EMR Access - Clinical Education
Some programs of study and accompanying instructors will be granted access to the Epic electronic medical record during the onboarding process. Once cleared for rotation, please monitor your email inbox for log in and training instructions. Please allow 2-3 business days following completion of Workday Learn modules for access to be updated. If authorized to do so, ensure you can successfully log in prior to first day of report.
Problems regarding Epic access should be directed to the IS Service Desk, reachable 24 hours a day by phone at 504-842-3610. For most efficient and effective assistance, please
- Communicate identity as that of a student
- Set up Security Questions in MyPassword if possible
- Have photo ID available
- Ensure video call capable device is available
