Clinical Education
Ochsner Health Clinical Education provides hands-on opportunities for research and application of clinical skills for more than 5,000 students annually by partnering with leading accredited education providers, facilitating growth of a diverse and inclusive healthcare workforce that keeps patients first. A wide variety of placements are facilitated throughout the Gulf Coast and Southeastern United States in PN, RN, Graduate Nursing, Physician Assistant, and more than 40 different Allied Health professional programs.

Rotation Request Process Overview
Ochsner Health Clinical Education is proud to offer use of InPlace Network free of charge to education providers. All clinical education experiences, rotation requests, and onboarding steps must be submitted through this platform by a school representive. Students are not granted access to InPlace Network.

Additional resources, including preliminary training videos and individualized training opportunities, are available. Please contact clinicaleducation@ocshner.org to request access to these videos, request additional assistance with training or account registration, or to communicate any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Complete Compliance as submitted within InPlace Network by School is mandatory in order to begin attendance of clinical education experiences. Students with incomplete, missing, or otherwise incorrect compliance will not be permitted to attend rotation until resolved and approved by Clinical Education.

Sample Learning Transcript
While Ochsner Health operates and manages myriad clinics and facilities as Ochsner Clinic Foundation, not all sites are encompassed by one universal academic affiliation agreement. Although an affiliation agreement may be active, placements are limited and subject to fluctuating capacity. Please ensure requests are entered prior to the posted request deadlines. Allow at least 4 months for processing any new agreements. An active agreement must be in effect for a rotation to proceed.
