Dr. Kosarek earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans, LA and completed both his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Anesthesia at Ochsner Health New Orleans, LA. He also has completed a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. He is board certified in anesthesiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2013.

Dr. Broussard joined Ochsner in 2004 and assumed the role of Chair, Department of Anesthesiology at Ochsner Medical Center -New Orleans in 2017. Dr. Broussard earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Medical Center - New Orleans and completed his internship and residency at Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Broussard is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Echocardiography in advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. He received his MBA from Tulane in 2009 and recently completed two terms on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Cara Bevinetto is a practicing anesthesiologist. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2013.
Dr. Bevinetto went on to complete a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017, along with a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesiology in 2018. She recently worked as an assistant professor for the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Falterman earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internship and residency at Ochsner Health. He also completed his fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Emory University Hospital where he served as Chief Fellow. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and National Board of Echocardiography in Intraoperative Transesophageal Echocardiography. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2008.
Dr. George Gilly specializes in anesthesiology at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. He completed his medical training at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Jacob Lessing specializes in anesthesiology at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. He completed medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Christopher Paul Owen received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following this, he completed his residency and fellowship in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Owen is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists and the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Owen’s expertise is in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and he has a special clinical interest in adult cardiac, thoracic and vascular anesthesiology. He is currently practicing at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans.
Dr. Trusheim earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Ochsner Health while serving as Chief Resident his senior year.
Dr. Kelly Ural joined the Ochsner department of anesthesia in 2011 and assumed the role of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship program director in 2014. She completed her anesthesiology residency at Ochsner Medical Center, and then completed a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, serving as chief fellow during her year there. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and by the National Board of Echocardiography in advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. She currently serves on the SCA Fellowship Program Director's council and the cardiac education subcommittee for the ASA.
