West Virginia University School of Medicine Program (Diagnostic Radiology – General)
Being from the gulf coast of Mississippi, I was well aware of the excellent training and care that Ochsner provides to its patients. I was thrilled to hear the opening of an Interventional Radiology residency. Ochsner is a high-volume transplant center, which would provide excellent training, especially in oncologic procedures, such as transarterial radioembolization as well as biliary interventions. The entire team at Oschner has been instrumental in my training thus far and great to work with. I have no doubt that I will finish my training well prepared and ready to provide excellent care. In addition, New Orleans has been a wonderful place to live with great culture and food!
Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Staten Island University Hospital Program (Diagnostic Radiology – General)
I was excited to begin my training at Ochsner due to the institution’s reputation, large catchment area, and diverse patient population. The fellowship experience thus far has exceeded my expectations. Our case volume is complex and highly educational. The entire department is easy to work with, the faculty very skilled, and the teaching has been hands on from the outset. Importantly, the team is supportive of my endeavors and invested in my success as an interventional radiologist. I am confident that my training at Ochsner will provide me with the skillset necessary to deliver exceptional patient care.
