Dr. Stephen Johnson practices radiology at Ochsner Health. He received a doctor of medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an internal medicine internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. Additionally, he finished a body imaging fellowship at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Johnson is board-certified by the American Board of Radiologists and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2015. His focus is on abdominal imaging including ultrasound, CT, and MRI, and he serves as section head of the ultrasound department. He is a member of and serves on committees for the American College of Radiology and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound.

Edward Bluth, MD, FACR, is a radiologist at Ochsner Health. Dr. Bluth graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with special distinction in history. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and completed his internship at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He then returned to the University of Pennsylvania to complete his residency at the Hospital of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bluth has been at Ochsner since 1977 and served as Chair of the Radiology Department between 1999-2006. For a span of 15 years he also served as a member of the Board of Management, Board of Governors and Board of Directors of the Ochsner Clinic and Foundation. Dr. Bluth was a Clinical Professor of Radiology at Tulane University School of Medicine and currently is Professor in the School of Medicine at the Ochsner Clinical School at The University of Queensland.
He is very active in numerous medical societies. He was a member of the Board of Chancellors of the American College of Radiology, serving as Chairman of the Commission on Human Resources. Dr. Bluth also served as Co-Chair of the National Forum for Quality Improvement of Healthcare and was President of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). He was a member of the American College of Radiology Delegation to the American Medical Association for 19 years. He's been President of the New Orleans Radiology Society, New Orleans Ultrasound Association and Radiologic Society of Louisiana.
Dr. Bluth is an active researcher and has published over 245 peer-reviewed articles and chapters. He is author or editor of 12 textbooks and serves on several editorial boards. He has also been part of many innovations and advancements in the field of radiology. In 1988, Dr. Bluth led consensus group that developed the first national and international criteria to grade carotid stenosis. He also reported on first use of ultrasound to identify lesions of the stomach, small bowel, appendix and colon.
In 2023, he was awarded the Gold Medal from the American College of Radiology as well as the Lawrence Mack Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound. He currently serves as Chair Emeritus for the Radiology Department at Ochsner Health.
Dr. DeVun earned his medical degree from LSU and completed his internship and residency at Ochsner before completing a angio/interventional radiology fellowship the University of California at Irvine. Dr. DeVun is board certified in radiology with added qualifications in vascular and interventional radiology and by the National Board of Medical Examiners. An active researcher, he has several scientific publications and presentations to his credit. Special interests include interventional oncology and removable IVC filters.
