2024 Gulf States Hospital Medicine Conference
Purpose
This conference provides participating physicians and healthcare providers the tools and knowledge to handle the numerous demands placed on a community-based hospitalist program. Skills will be developed across the continuum; including intensive care, acute care medicine, pain management, and updates in HIV therapies. The purpose of this meeting is to identify common issues pertinent to hospital based medicine, including clinical, administrative, and quality challenges currently in the forefront of hospital medicine.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 8 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
