Research/Scholarly Activities
By the end of the first year of fellowship, fellows typically have identified a primary research mentor and formulated a research project(s) to be conducted during the second year of fellowship. The fellows typically meet weekly with their research mentor to discuss project design, development, implementation, and analyses. All first and second year fellows attend and participate in the Endocrine Research Conference, which occurs monthly and offers the opportunity for both basic and clinical research faculty and fellows to present their ongoing research.
