It is with great excitement that I introduce to you the new Ochsner Family Medicine Residency at St. Tammany Health System! With ambulatory clinical education and true continuity that fosters a strong physician-patient relationship at its core, our mission is to train a diverse group of physicians to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to the community we serve. With Ochsner’s support, we have the resources of a full academic center at our disposal while training in a brand new, state of the art, purpose-built clinic and in an unopposed community hospital setting through St. Tammany Health System. Conveniently located in Covington, LA, our program offers a prime location for residency training with a low cost of living, competitive public education, a low crime rate, and myriad opportunities for dining, art, culture and the outdoor activities Louisiana is known for.
Along with a team of experienced Family Medicine physicians as core faculty and a full complement of specialist faculty, I invite you to explore all our program has to offer.
