Psychiatry Residency Program
In July 1999, the Psychiatry Residency Program of Ochsner Health and Louisiana State University merged to offer an opportunity to train in a stimulating environment where teaching and clinical practice are evenly balanced.
- The wide-ranging clinical and research interests of the Ochsner and LSU staff, along with the variety of clinical settings, provide a multifaceted training experience for the psychiatric resident.
- Supervision by Ochsner faculty throughout the residency is a cornerstone of our program, which provides a close working relationship between residents and supervisors.
- Numerous opportunities for both formal and informal supervision provide the resident with a rich learning experience.
