The Clara Wing has a large, spacious family waiting room on the 3rd floor. This waiting room has access to an outdoor patio, computers with Internet access, a flat screen TV and a comfortable seating area.
The Clara Lobby is a welcoming space for visitors near our café, with ample seating, free Wi-Fi and a grand piano.
The surgery waiting room at Ochsner Baptist is available on the first floor of the Magnolia Building.
At Ochsner Health, volunteers are an integral part of the service system. There are volunteer opportunities available to assist with patient and non-patient needs in a professional atmosphere throughout the institution.
Volunteer shifts are flexible, with morning and afternoon times available to match most schedules. Volunteer benefits include free parking, discounts at campus restaurants and gift shops and the use of Ochsner's medical library. Attendance at many of Ochsner's educational workshops and events are also offered.
Additionally, active volunteers who work four hours or more daily are provided complimentary meals.

Our 24-hour, full-service emergency department at Ochsner Baptist means most patients will be seen by a doctor in 30-minutes or less. The 6,000 square foot emergency room is staffed by a team of board-certified ER physicians, offers two trauma rooms and 12 patient rooms and is equipped with specialized geriatric amenities for seniors.
Ochsner Baptist is home to a health center with physicians offices such as primary care, urology, orthopedics, back and spine services, pain management, and many more. We also provide convenient primary care services at our Mid-City Clinic with same-day and next-day appointments and accessible parking.
