Dr. Bardot earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School. He completed his surgical residency at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, and his urology residency at Kansas University Medical Center. He completed a urologic oncology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinics in Ohio and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Bardot is board certified in urology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1991. In addition to his responsibilities as the Chairman of Ochsner's Urology Section, Dr. Bardot is the Director of Cancer Services at Ochsner and a member of Ochsner's Board of Directors, among other responsibilities. An active researcher, Dr. Bardot has several scientific medical articles, abstracts, presentations and lectures to his credit.

Dr. Eric Laborde is a New Orleans native who completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia. He received his doctor of medicine degree from LSU in New Orleans. He completed his residency in urology at the Ochsner/LSU program. He then completed a fellowship in male infertility and erectile dysfunction at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL.

Frank Cerniglia, MD

Dr. Cerniglia is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his Urology Residency at LSU/Charity Hospital. He continued his studies in a Pediatric Urology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He previously joined our Ochsner team in 1990-1998. Upon leaving Ochsner, he established his private practice in the Greater New Orleans area. Post Katrina, he relocated to Richmond, Virginia and practiced at Children’s Urology of Virginia. Ochsner is excited to have Dr. Cerniglia back at home here at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans.

Lester J. Prats, MD

A native of New Orleans, Dr. Prats earned his medical degree from LSU and completed his internship and Surgical and Urology residencies at Charity Hospital. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 1994. Dr. Prats is board certified in Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He holds a Clinical Associate Professorship at LSU.

Joanna M. Togami, MD

Dr. Togami earned her medical degree from the University of New Mexico. Following graduation, she completed her internship and residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a fellowship in female urology, voiding dysfunction and pelvic reconstruction at the Cleveland Clinic Florida. Dr. Togami specializes in urology. She has been on staff at Ochsner since fall 2004.


Dr. Caitlin Coco practices pediatric urology at Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. She went on to complete her internship and residency at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in pediatric urology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Colin Goudelocke is board certified and fellowship trained in urology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (FPMRS). He earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed both his internship and residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He completed a fellowship in female urology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where he continued on as faculty.

Dr. Melissa Montgomery received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology from the University of Georgia. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She completed her surgery internship and residency in urology at Tulane University Medical Center. She also spent some time at The Medical University of South Carolina during her urologic training. Dr. Montgomery will be seeing patients at Ochsner Medical Center. Her professional interests include general urology with an emphasis in minimally invasive urology.

Dr. Wildenfels is a New Orleans native and graduate of LSU Health School of Medicine in New Orleans. She was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her Urology Residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch, followed by fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Baylor College of Medicine with Texas Children’s Hospital. During that time, she also completed the Clinical Scientist Training Program in Clinical Research. She was in practice in Houston, Texas, at Houston Pediatric Urology until returning to New Orleans to join Ochsner, specializing in all aspects of Pediatric Urology.

Dr. Woo earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his surgery residency at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center and his urology resideny at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, where he also completed a min-fellowship in neurourology. Dr. Woo holds Diplomate certification from the American Board of Urology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1998. An active researcher, Dr. Woo has several scientific medical articles, abstracts, presentations and lectures to his credit.

Dr. Rohith Arcot, MD, received his Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed his residency in Urology at Detroit Medical Center program. He then completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

Kyle Rose, MD

Dr. Kyle M. Rose is a urologic oncologist at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. He grew up in New Orleans before attending college at Louisiana State University where he was a varsity letterman on the Track and Field team. He attended Louisiana State University Shreveport for medical school where he graduated with Research Distinction and honors in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He then completed a two-year Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Rose joined the Department of Urology at Ochsner in 2023, and is interested in all aspects of urologic oncology, offering laparoscopic, robotic and open surgery. His research interests include urothelial carcinoma genomics, with focus in liquid biopsies. He currently collaborates on investigations with the Genitourinary Oncology Laboratory on Jefferson Hwy. Dr. Rose is involved with teaching of the Ochsner Urology Residency Program and the University of Queensland Medical School. His approach to patient care is based on compassion and transparency.

Sean M. Collins, MD

Dr. Sean Collins specializes in the treatment of prostate, bladder and kidney cancers with minimally invasive surgery. A native New Orleanian, Dr. Collins earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry cum laude from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA in 1993. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1997 where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

From 1997 until 1999, Dr. Collins completed two years of general surgery residency at LSU-Ochsner in preparation for the LSU-Ochsner Urology residency program which he completed from 1999 through 2003. After practicing in New Orleans for two years, Dr. Collins was selected for the Columbia University – Southwest Oncology Group fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology in New York, NY.

After returning to New Orleans, Dr. Collins developed surgical programs at multiple medical centers in South Louisiana. He has written book chapters, published in peer-reviewed journals, and is a reviewer for multiple medical journals. His current research focuses on surgical outcomes. He is the surgeon champion for the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program at Ochsner Baptist and is the Chair of Regional Urology.

Dr. Collins is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Gregory Larsen, MD

Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, Dr. Gregory Larsen studied history at Tennessee Technological University. He performed non-profit work for several years before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Larsen received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his urology residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. Dr. Larsen is board certified in urology by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Grant Pollock was born and raised in Kenner, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Brother Martin High School. He obtained an undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University, graduating Cum Laude. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree from LSUHSC Medical School in New Orleans. Dr. Pollock then moved to Tucson, Arizona where he completed his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Urology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals and presented poster and podium presentations at sectional, national and international conferences. He served as Chief Resident in Urology during his final year of residency. He is a member of the American Urological Association.Dr. Pollock has a variety of clinical interests, including Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) for the treatment of BPH, urologic reconstruction and robotic and minimally invasive surgery for both benign and malignant disease processes. Dr. Pollock is a devoted fan of both the LSU Football and New Orleans Saints teams, and when not working, he enjoys going to football games with his family and friends as well as spending time at home with his wife and his dog.

Matthew Nielsen, MD

Dr. Matthew Nielsen was raised in Nacogdoches, Texas. He obtained an undergraduate degree in business and chemistry at Baylor University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was elected to the distinguished Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a junior medical student. Dr. Nielsen then graduated Summa Cum Laude at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He was Intern of the Year in General Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He then completed his urologic residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he received the Eunice Baxter Award for most outstanding resident in all specialties. After residency, Dr. Nielsen worked in a Florida private practice for over three years.
